  • Coffee: 40g
  • Grind: medium coarse
  • Water: 600g at 203º F
  • Time: 5 minutes


  1. Place filter in brewer.
  2. Rinse filter with hot water.
  3. Measure and grind coffee.
  4. Dump rinse water and pour grounds into the filter.
  5. Shake grounds to level them.
  6. Pour 100 grams of water in a circular pattern over the grounds, wetting all the grounds (first pour).
  7. Let coffee grounds bloom for 45 seconds.
  8. Stir the grounds.
  9. After 1 minute, pour 175 grams of water (second pour).
  10. After 2 minutes, pour 175 more grams of water (third pour).
  11. After 3 minutes, pour the final 150 grams of water (fourth pour).
  12. Let sit for 1-minute draw down.
  13. Enjoy.
