For espresso lovers, this is a great introduction into making your own at home without breaking the bank. Plus, it's super portable, so take it on your next outdoor adventure.


  • Coffee: 30g
  • Grind: medium-fine
  • Water: 100g at 185º F
  • Method: inverted
  • Time: 60 seconds


  1. Pour 150 grams of water on the coffee in 10 seconds.
  2. Stir firmly 20 times in 10 seconds.
  3. Put the filter cap with a rinsed filter on the brewer.
  4. Gently press out excess air.
  5. After 40 seconds, flip the AeroPress and press out all the coffee.
  6. You should end up with roughly 60 grams of extracted coffee.
  7. Add 140 to 160 grams of water to the extracted coffee.
  8. Taste and add more water until it’s at your desired strength.
  9. Cool the brew down to drinking temp by stirring and decanting.
  10. Enjoy.
